Soul Agreements

Did you ever meet someone for the first time and feel an immediate connection? Maybe it was something in her eyes, or in his smile...or the way you felt so comfortable. I tell my clients that special connection is simply "two old souls reuniting." Sometimes it's a little more. Sometimes it's a Soul Agreement.

"J" came to see me due to an array of mixed feelings; deep sadness, grief, confusion, and a profound sense of fear. We uncovered her feelings of confusion - she was in love with 2 men. Her feelings of deep sadness, grief, and fear stemmed from a Soul Agreement she made lifetimes ago with one of them.

So what actually is a Soul Agreement and why did they make one?

A Soul Agreement is a contract that two souls have if a deep loving spiritual connection is between them. They have travelled many life times together. These souls have the trust like innocent children and unconditional love that has been earned and shared through life times. They have vowed to help each other grow and develop for both their highest good.

When "J" first met him she was shaken to her core. She knew she liked him immediately but was confused about why she found herself thinking
about him all the time. Confused about why he felt so "familiar". Confused about why the chemistry was so strong. That's why she booked a session with me. Many past lives came up. They were family members, spouses, best friends, mostly happy lives except for one. In one life they were lovers who could not be together...so they killed themselves.

After the past lives, the processing took place with the help from her guides and angels. This is where we learned about the Soul Agreement.

Both "J" and her lover entered into this life with a fear of love and loss which resulted in fears of intimacy and emotionally broken relationships.

They just dealt with their fears differently. "He runs from his fears" and "I run towards them". Their Soul Agreement was to teach each other how to open and heal their hearts. To learn how to love and heal from the loss.

This is where karma comes in to play....unfinished business.
Again, in this life, they can not be together. The lesson then, is to heal the karma by being together in a joyous relationship that is acceptable to both but not necessarily romantic. They literally have a lifetime to work it out and heal.

I'm sure they will because "J" has emailed me since with periodic updates. Her spiritual lover visits in her dream state and deep meditations to tell her how he truly feels. On a conscious level, they are slowly becoming friends. So I guess you can say they are following their Soul Agreement in their time.
